Paint & Sip workshop a success

It was an honour to have my work displayed on the walls too as we were the first group to use the newly renovated upstairs gallery space.

On Friday night, Art & Grind in Guildford was buzzing with creativity, laughter, and the clinking of cocktail glasses as I facilitated a delightful Paint & Sip workshop. It was the perfect way to kick off the bank holiday weekend, with a group of wonderful people coming together to enjoy an evening of art, wine, and great company.

The theme of the night was bees, and each participant had the chance to express their unique style on canvas. As the evening unfolded, it was incredible to see how each canvas transformed into a work of art, reflecting the individual creativity and flair of its artist.

The atmosphere was lively and relaxed, with everyone savoring delicious cocktails (courtesy of Art & Grind founder Trish) and wine while getting lost in their paintings. The drinks definitely added a fun twist, helping to ease any nerves and allowing everyone to fully embrace their inner artist. It was heartwarming to witness the sense of community that developed as people shared tips, complimented each other's work, and enjoyed the process together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special Paint & Sip event. It was a pleasure to see so many people enjoying themselves and expressing their creativity in such a supportive and joyful environment. I can't wait to host more events like this in the future—so stay tuned for the next opportunity to sip, paint, and have a great time!

Art & Grind is running an ‘Art & Wined’ evening with the fabulous Debra Hodgson on Friday 30th August. Information here: https://www.artandgrind.co.uk/events
