Upcoming exhibition: ‘Evoking Connections’

Announcing My Upcoming Exhibition at The Horton, Epsom: Evoking Connections

I’m excited to share that I’ll be displaying a collection of my 6” x 6” oil paintings as part of the upcoming ‘Evoking Connections’ exhibition at The Horton Arts Centre in Epsom! This exhibition is a celebration of connection, featuring work from both neurodiverse and neurotypical artists, each exploring the many ways we relate to one another and the world around us.

Preparing for the Show

In the lead-up to the exhibition, I’ve been selecting oil paintings from my daily paintings collection, arranging and re-arranging them to find the perfect layout. There’s something truly special about seeing them all together. The rich colours, the textures, and the emotions captured in each piece take on a whole new energy when placed side by side.

I can’t wait to see them displayed alongside the incredible work of other artists in this exhibition which has been thoughtfully curated by Marcele Silvina. Marcele is a neurodiverse artist who invited me to take part in this exhibition after meeting at a recent ‘Drink & Draw’ event. You can learn more abot Marcele on her website.

What ‘Evoking Connections’ is About

At its heart, this exhibition is about relationships—between people, ideas, and artistic expression. It brings together a diverse group of artists, each with a unique perspective, yet all united in the theme of connection. Whether through colour, form, or subject matter, each piece contributes to a larger conversation about how we engage with one another, both consciously and unconsciously.

If you love art, want to support local artists, or are simply curious about the exhibition, I’d love for you to come along!
